How to Create Mug Rugs

Weave  little rag rug coasters with materials found around your house. The loom is made from corrugated cardboard. The mug rug uses a small amount of string or yarn that you probably have on hand, and thin strips of fabric. This is a fun project to make with kids, but adults love to make these simple little coasters.

Needle Felted Fairy Doll with a Balloon

Needle felting technique and wool was love at first sight for me. Wool, as a very versatile material, which I really adore, became a medium for artistic expression. With its properties, softness, and beautiful colors, we can achieve wonderful decorative effects, and through the creative process of the artist we inhale the energy, which brings special value to space. As a creator  of Petruškas, I am trying to achieve right that.

We'll explore some bead sewing techniques that will give you beautiful results: back stitching, sewing embellishments, making fringes  and using sequins for some glamour. Rhinestones and crystal beads are always a great way to add more interest to your pieces. A professionally finished back and beautiful edges are the elements that make or break an embroidered design.
